Men are encouraged to find ways to grow in their faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. We provide a number of activities for men at Central.
We are looking for a few men to lead in developing an ongoing ministry for men who want to grow spiritually. Call Pastor Jeff for more info.
In addition to the weekly opportunities other men’s events being planned include:
- Saturday morning fellowship breakfasts with a special speaker
- Servant projects
- Men’s canoe trip in the spring
- An annual men’s retreat

Thursday Morning Bible Study
Thursday mornings 6:30-7:30 am at the Backroads Café in NowthenJoin other men for good food, great conversation and solid Bible study. Let us buy you breakfast the first time you visit! If you have questions, please contact Pastor Krogstad at Central.
Fellowship
Pick-up Basketball/Open Gym
Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Join in a great game of pick-up basketball. Good exercise and great fellowship.
Prayer
Tuesday Morning Prayer
6:30 - 7:30 am
In the spirit of Odyssey 2010 men are invited to come together for a time of prayer. Join Mike Pelle, Bob Zanett, Pastor Johansson and other men on Tuesdays at 6:30 am in the Sanctuary.

Have you ever wanted to be able to ask someone to pray for you? It is such an encouragement to know that another man is praying for you on a daily basis. E-mail Pastor Johansson at paul.Johansson@clcelkriver.org to sign up. Mike Pelle is overseeing this ministry.

- Boundary Waters June 19-23 - Meeting Wednesday, May 14 at 8:00 pm
Guys, there's still room! If you want to go to the Boundary Waters June 19-23 (Thursday through Monday) there are still a couple spots available. Contact Pastor Jeff or attend the next Boundary Waters meeting on Wednesday, May 14th, at 8 pm here at Central. We have routes that make a great introduction to the Boundary Waters as well as adventures for more experienced canoers.

We have a special "Master Builder’s Bible" designed just for men. They have lots of discussion and devotion questions, and helpful resources for your personal study. They’re available in the Corner Store N More or through the church office for $15 each.
