Abba Pregnancy Resource Center is in need of new layette items for gifting to new moms and babies.Each mom receives a diaper bag filled with necessities and newborn outfits about a week prior to their due date.For the month of April, we have a porta crib set up outside the church nursery for donations of new items along with “shopping list” cards of suggested items and needs. No time to shop? Mark this date on your calendar and join us. Enjoy great food while supporting the Mexico Mission Team from Central. All proceeds will go to purchase food for the children and families in Mazatlan. Each year, we feed over 1,000 people and supply food bags to many families. Come and help make our mission, yours.
Jamaica Team Report
“Irie” is how the Jamaica Mission Team explains their trip to Robin’s Nest Children’s Home outside of Montego Bay. The children were full of smiles every morning we arrived; the staff graciously accepted our help with laundry, mopping and other chores, even if we didn’t do it “their way!” The roof project was completed, cupboards built and new doors hung in the apartment. How did we accomplish all this in five short days? The same way we accomplished raising about $4,500 for their mortgage match, additional money for diapers & supplies, and in one short week the $1,500 for the roof repairs. We turned it over to GOD and the people of Central and the ER community came through! THANK YOU FOR YOUR GIVING HEARTS! We will share our journey of putting our “faith into action” on Sunday, May 6. If you want to find out what “Irie” means, you’ll have to stop and visit with us!
