GRANDER VISION LIVING!
This week we come to the end of our four week emphasis on JUST WALK ACROSS THE ROOM. Bill Hybels invites us to discover what ‘real living’ is all about. He takes us back to one of the basic stories from Scripture. He writes, “’Peter, James, John,’ Jesus said as he looked each of them in the eyes, ‘so far, you three have spent your days being fishermen. But what I’m inviting you to do – starting right here, right now – is to become fishers of men and women. Instead of investing your precious time and energy in catching six-inch fish, let’s go after the six footers! I’m asking you to give up everything you have and everything you are for the sake of people’s souls. Come with me, and you’ll see what real living is all about!”
Grander Vision living is knowing what real living is all about. Years ago I came across the following from Henri Nouwen; “If you don’t know what’s absolutely essential you’ll do the merely important.” It is my prayer and hope that you know what GRANDER VISION LIVING is all about!
* What’s most valuable?
* What is a life that counts?
* Do you have a passion for Jesus?
* Are you Spirit led?
* Do we genuinely love one another?
These are just some questions that help us discern the life Jesus prepares for us! I hope to see you on Sunday.
God’s Blessings!

Paul Johansson

Caring Ministries
BeFriender Ministry - a "calling" to reach out to the hurting, the homebound, the grieving, those going thru a divorce, illness or depression.
BeFrienders visit in the home or a public place, can bring communion to the homebound. BeFrienders are not counselors but listeners.
GriefShare and DivorceCare
We experience grief from childhood to death. We just usually push it down and then something
happens and it all comes boiling up. Healthy people get help - from groups like GS and DC. Talking and experiencing the feelings and sharing those feelings is the way to get through them.
Confidentiality is key to all these ministries. For more information or to make a referral, please call the church office. |
