Central,
Last night Jeff, Sonja and I were privileged to meet with about 20 men and women who will be set aside to be PASTORATE LEADERS. It was the first of two Equipping and Training Sessions for Pastorate Leaders. Some of you were at worship on Sunday when we gathered around Luke 10 and the story of Jesus appointing seventy and sending them to ‘every town and place where he himself intended to go.’ Jesus went on to say, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Jeff, Sonja and I are so grateful for the Pastorate leaders that God is raising up in the body of Central.
If you have not yet heard about PASTORATES and D4D GROUPS I encourage you to come to one of the three remaining preview sessions that I am hosting this week. You can come tomorrow for lunch at 12:15, Saturday for a light breakfast at 8:00 or Sunday for lunch immediately following the 11:00 worship. Email me and let me know what session you will be attending! It is so exciting to be part of the new thing that God is doing in and through Central.
Hope to see many of you tomorrow for lunch, Saturday for breakfast or Sunday for lunch! Thanks for your partnership in Making Disciples of Jesus and keep praying that the Spirit will have freedom in your life and mine!

Each week people meet together for a meal, a talk on topics such as "Who is Jesus?", "Why Did Jesus Die?", "How Can I be Sure of My Faith?", and "Does God Still Heal Today?" , followed by small group interaction. There is an optional one-day retreat, which focuses on the person and work of the Holy Spirit.
