Wednesday, June 30 – Joshua 3:7-17 – Matt Krotzer

This is another example yet again where God sent a message and kept his promise. Joshua receives a message from the lord that it is time for the Israelites to go to the Promised Land; He tells Joshua how it is going to happen. Joshua, a faithful servant of the Lord, does not question but tells all how it is going to happen. He makes sure to glorify God the entire time he speaks so as not to take any credit for this. This is also another example that we cannot go it alone. God always does what he says he is going to do.

I should try to be a servant like Joshua. If I am told something by God I should just go and not ask why and where there is glory I should give it to God. God has proved himself over and over, that he is trust worthy that he is faithful to his word, when we obey and keep up our end of the bargain.

Lord of all the earth, I just ask that you can come into my life today and just show me where you want me to go. Remove all the doubt from my head and clear it to do your work. Help me to remember that your promise is always good that your words are always true. Teach me to be a servant like Joshua not questioning and not taking any of your glory. Thank you Lord. Amen.
